In this project, I gained extensive hands-on experience with Unix command line utilities and Bash scripting through labs in the course EECS2031 – Software Tools. The lab exercises focused on mastering essential Unix commands such as ls
, grep
, chmod
, and more, enabling efficient file management, text processing, and system administration directly from the command line. Additionally, I developed and executed Bourne Again Shell (Bash) scripts to automate tasks, demonstrating my ability to handle variable manipulation, control flow, and input/output operations in a Unix environment. This project reflects my capability to work in non-GUI environments, where command-line efficiency is crucial, and highlights my problem-solving skills through over 80 practice exercises.
